Post-Implementation Report: Igbojaiye Ramadan Feeding Scheme 2025

As part of our mission to support underserved communities during the holy month of Ramadan, the DLO Foundation, on behalf of OOIA Resources Ltd, is pleased to report the successful execution of the Igbojaiye Ramadan Feeding Scheme 2025.

This intervention was carried out as part of OOIA Resources Ltd’s community development efforts in the Igbojaiye region, in partnership with the local community leaders and under the distinguished guidance of His Royal Majesty, Oba Olatunji Oladimeji Zaccheaus, the respected monarch of Igbojaiye.

The distribution, which took place across several centres in Itesiwaju Local Government, provided food relief to approximately 2,050 individuals, each receiving one staple food item to support their fasting during the final days of Ramadan. Items distributed included:

  • 50 cartons of spaghetti (1,000 packs)
  • 40 cartons of macaroni (800 packs)
  • 5 sacks of semolina (50kg each), repackaged into 1kg portions (250 units)

These items were selected to meet immediate food needs and to ease the burden on families observing Ramadan under economic strain. The programme was conducted with the full cooperation of the traditional leadership and local coordinators to ensure orderly, transparent, and dignified distribution.

We extend our sincere gratitude to:

  • HRM Oba Olatunji Oladimeji Zaccheaus for his steadfast support,
  • The local youth and community leaders who assisted in organizing the distribution,
  • And most importantly, BUA Foods for donating all food palliatives to OOIA Resources Ltd who pioneered this impactful initiative demonstrating a genuine commitment to grassroots development.

This project is a testament to the impact that thoughtful, well-executed corporate social responsibility can have on everyday lives—especially during sacred periods like Ramadan.
